This is due to the ability to move the screen around to see enemies from elsewhere. There is a minimum distance you have to be away from the screen unlike other light gun games. A red glow allows you to know how close they are going to attack The enemies in this game is a lot more dangerous then the light gun games, swarms will eat you alive even with the assault rifle, and fast enemies will make your life very painful. You will be occasionally given the shotgun (which does a lot of damage up close) and grenades (A pseudo smart bomb which allows you destroy everything in a splash zone) and a minigun which lays down the hurt This game is HARD! Unlike Razing Storm or Ghost squad, your enemies are durable, they take about 30 rounds out of the 60 round magazine of your assault rifle to put down. Managed to play the game, here are some of the details UPDATE: For a more recent look at this cabinet(with video), go here and here. Click on the thumbnails below for the full view More information will probably be forthcoming so stay tuned. The artwork on this cab is pretty good although at the moment you can’t really tell how it performs graphically. It is interesting to see how they made a “Sneak Preview” version of the game for the location test, I have not heard of using this technique before but it certainly is a good idea. Of course the cabinet could change by the time they release it but I imagine that it would be easier to use these modified cabinets. As you can see, the cabinet is just like the deluxe cabinet for Big Buck Safari, which a large LCD screen. You might recall that we posted about this rumor a little while ago and while we didn’t have many details on it at the time, with this revelation we learn quite a bit about the upcoming title. One player has done this and has come across the Terminator: Salvation arcade game, which is being done by Play Mechanix (who has done both Aliens: Extermination and Big Buck Hunter/Safari) and Raw Thrills. As arcade location tests are rarely announced in the US, at times savvy gamers who frequent game websites visit their local arcade and just so happen to come across these secret location tests.
